Kingsgate Centre - Michael Hadfield

The Kingsgate shopping mall opened in 2002, comprising 44 shops, at a cost of £50 million and built from 1600 tonnes of sandstone from the local quarry at Crosland Moor. Several old 'yards' around the area were incorporated into the development and have been restored to their former glories. See the carving of Hammond's Yard. 15"x9"
